A journey to Pisang Peak combines diverse features of the popular Annapurna region in term of ethnic groups and changing topography. A unique trek and demanding adventure climbing can be suitable only for the fit individuals wishing to take on an adventure of a lifetime. The Pisang peak rises from the yak pasture above the old Pisang village to the final summit in the uniform slope of snow and ice. The western flank guarded by the glacier and a traverse to the whole summit ridge might offer you a considerable challenge on your way to summit. Nepal Fair Step Trekking organizes climbing clinic course briefed and instructed by experienced climbing Sherpa so that you acquire the necessary skills and confidence to summit the top.
Day 01. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Nepal Fair Step Trekking will be waiting for you at Tribhuwan international airport with a board displaying your name. You will welcome you with a Garland or a Khata – a traditional scarf – and take you to your hotel. You will be informed about the program and schedule of the next days. In the evening, someone from Fair Step Trekking will take you out for dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 02.Sightseeing in Kathmandu :Our city guide will take you around the city and show you the most historical and spiritual sites in Kathmandu: Durbar square, the living goddess Kumari, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath stupa. You will learn about our history, culture, religion and the daily life in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Aarughat (608m) – Sotikhola (700 m): driving 8-9 hrs.
Day 04: Trek Aarughat -LapuBesi (870m).Walking time: 6-7h, ↑300m, ↓150m
Day 05: Trek LapuBesi -Dovan (1070m).Walking time: 6-7h, ↑380m, ↓150m
Day 06: Trek Dovan -Akle Bhatty(1600m) Walking time 6-7h, ↑620 m, ↓260 m.
Day 07: Trek Akle Bhatti-Ghap (2300m).walking time: 6-7h, ↑820m, ↓600m
Day 08: Trek Ghap- Lho (3180m).Walking time: 6-7h, ↑1050m, ↓300m
Day 09: Trek Lho –Samdo (3875m).Walking time: 7h, ↑820m, ↓210m
Day 10: Rest day in samdo(↑500m↓500m for acclimatize)
Day11 : Trek Samdo –Dharamsala(4460m).Walking time:3-4h, ↑500m, ↓50m
Day 12: Trek Dharamsala-Larkya La(5160 m) – Bimthang (3590m).Walking time: 9-10 h, ↑700m, ↓1550m
Day 13: Trek Bimtang – Dahrapani (1963m) – walking time: 9h, ↑50m,↓1630m
Day 14: Trek Dharapani – Pisang (3185m). By local Jip. (Overnight Lodge)
Day 15: Trek Pisang -Pisang Base camp (4570m). Walking time: 4h, ↑1385m,↓m
Day 16: Trek Pisang Base camp- High Camp (5030m). Walking time: 2h, ↑460m,↓m
Day 17: Climb Pisang summit (6090m) -Pisang.Walking time: 10h, ↑1060m,↓2400m
Day 18: Drive Pisang -Besisahar(By local Jip) Driving time: 8-9h,
Day 19: Drive Basisahar -Kathmandu (by bus) Driving time: 5-6h,
Day 20: Leisure day in Kathmandu. (If would like to shorter the trek you may depart this day)
